The first Mauritian Holiday Inn is so close to the airport that you could almost walk from your plane to get there. And guess who was appointed to devise its branding and communication strategy? Needless to say, we had a blast…

Holiday Inn Mauritius is not your typical city hotel: surrounded by lush vegetation, it sits in the middle of beautiful sugarcane fields that render its location quite unique. Thinking about the fabulous contrast between work and after-work ambiences, we came up with the following argument: why not illustrate the advantages of staying at Holiday Inn through overlapping images of business men and women in these different situations? Our campaign was therefore an invitation to explore the elegance, fun and freedom provided by the hotel, with a dash of seriousness of course…

Take the following print advertisement we designed: you can see a well-dressed businessman in his chair – your typical business hotel client – but what catches your eyes is the photo of the stunning pool area. This ad reminds you that a business trip does not exclude relaxing moments, especially at the Holiday Inn where you can enjoy pool and terrace, all day dining, free wifi, a fitness area and a spa by [comfort zone]. It was our very own Presila who came up with the ‘Inn play-on-words – and we love it!

From my viewpoint, Inedi has two major strengths. Firstly, its team knows the importance of listening, and it quickly grasps the client’s needs. Secondly, I was impressed by Inedi’s responsiveness and its prompt execution of tasks throughout the project: from the briefing to the realization. Changes were implemented within 24 hours and there was always somebody I could talk to if I had a question. This agency fully meets European standards.”
