Inedi breathed new life into the luxurious Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa in Dhonakulhi (North Maldives). In parallel with the refurbishment of its hardware, the group appointed Inedi to refresh the brand identity, and here’s what we did…

1. We created new logos and identities!

The beautiful sunny shape forming the new logo of Hideaway was a proposal of our very own Fab… It symbolizes the pleasant Maldivian sun as well as feelings of wholeness and infinity. An infinity of holidays under the sun? That sounds like paradise to us…

Inspired by the beauty of the Maldives and the Hideaway visual universe, we designed all the collaterals as well as the new logos for the Food and Beverages entities – namely three restaurants (Matheefaru, Samsara, Sunset Pool Café), one bar (Meeru) and one nightclub (Waves). In addition, we created gorgeous menus in luxurious materials (wood, leather, hot foil) completed with elegant details (die cutting, emboss etc.).

2. We did a photoshoot

Our art director Fab and the photographer JB embarked on a plane to the Maldives, where they spent 12 days shooting ravishing models in a blissful setting. 3. We designed the brochure and the Fact-Sheet 

The new brochure observes an original yet clear guideline: many of the lifestyle pictures are in Black and White. This is because we wanted to focus on the luxurious character of Hideaway. In addition, the B&W pics stand out from the classic colourful pictures of the Maldives. The brochure represents this unique combination of unspoilt nature and luxury. It gives you a glimpse into the new Deluxe Water Villas – and yes, they’re breathtaking – but you’ll also learn about key features of the resort such as the Private Butler, exclusive activities like Fly-Fishing and finally why your stay will be memorable.

4. We shot a video

In fact we made 2 videos: a 2 minutes stylish video in Black and White – a bold choice aiming at differentiating Hideaway from other Maldivian resorts. Its longer version (4 minutes) is a comprehensive overview of the hotel and its facilities. You can watch them on our Youtube Channel.

5. We gave recommendations 

Inspired by the new F&B logos, we made uniform proposals – because we believe members of the staff are the best brand ambassadors.

We loved partnering with Hideaway, so we’re currently working on a big coffee table book about the resort! Stay tuned…
