Deep into Veranda: a “refresh” of the brand
What started as a brand identity “refresh” for Veranda Resorts became for Inedi a fully-fledge rethinking of how to communicate on the group’s core values and its strong identity. The goal of this operation was to refocus the attention on Veranda’s historic comparative advantage: the promise that your stay in one of its 3* or 4* hotel will bring you closer than ever to Mauritius and its people.
Following these cues, we designed a bright logo looking more dynamic than before thanks to a modern/lively typography and bold colours. What’s more, we declined the new identity across the collaterals and we strung everything together with a strong tagline “Deep into Mauritius. Every holiday has a story. Live yours.”. This tagline has in fact become the group’s brand signature, and it was broken down into several variants: “Deep into the blue”, “Deep into culture”, “Deep into flavours” etc… A fierce promise to the guests that they will experience a wide range of sensations and emotions making their stay memorable! After all, travelling to Mauritius doesn’t mean remaining on the surface but rather delving into its vibrant heart…
The Veranda experiences…
The brand refresh wouldn’t have been so exciting without the photos and videos we made to illustrate the new experiences of Veranda : cool activities that you can do whilst staying at a Veranda hotel such as discovering the surrounding villages, taking cooking classes on the beach, tasting local rum and dancing to the sound of “ravannes”. The vintage-like pictures celebrate an authentic Mauritian art de vivre made of fun, music, tropical fruits and friendly moments… As for the videos, well, just have a look here !
Veranda Resorts unveiled last November one of its new experience, the Pop-Up moments, which we branded in accordance to the upcoming refresh. Therefore, the typo we picked is vivid and bright and the language very bubbly… to say the least! Pop-Up moments come into a variety of forms: Sunset Vibes, Coco’lidays and Love me Tender. We illustrated each concept with a specific video and a range of stunning photos, which you can explore on the dedicated page.
